The Cartersville Country Club golf course is one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the foothills of Georgia. In August of 2002, Cartersville Country Club reopened its course with a new look. Among the highlights were the reconstruction of 18 new greens, installation of a new irrigation system, creation of a back set of tees on 15 holes, and new cart paths. In addition to the eighteen hole golf course, Cartersville Country Club has a premier practice facility which includes an 8,000 square foot putting green, a 1,000 square foot chipping green coupled with two sand bunkers and three 10,000 square foot practice tees. In Fall 2008 the club added several new tees which lengthened the course to nearly 7100 yards, making it a legitimate championship layout. The teaching studio is equipped with a covered teaching facility that offers a sophisticated, computerized, video swing analyzer as well as custom club fitting.
